Logicenters will develop 37,000 m² in Høje Taastrup

Logicenters continues to grow in Denmark with a new investment in Høje Taastrup. The new property will be developed into a modern logistics facility, with the first 8,500 m² being ready by January 2027. The second phase of 25,000 m² is planned for completion in 2030, bringing the total area to 37,000 m² in one of Denmark’s most important logistics locations.

Logicenters is adding another Danish investment to its portfolio. The new property was acquired from Castellum, with a long-term focus on sustainability and efficiency. It will incorporate renewable energy solutions with rooftop solar panels, as well as circular construction methods that reuse materials from the existing building.

“The acquisition in Høje Taastrup is a significant milestone in our mission to provide logistics infrastructure across the Nordics. Our work with Castellum has been efficient and beneficial for both parties. With this warehouse space, we are now in a very good position to meet the need for logistics facilities that are both strategically located and sustainably developed”, says Thomas Petersen, Commercial Manager at Logicenters Denmark.

The facility is located near the motorway network with immediate access to the city of Copenhagen and the Øresund bridge. With Copenhagen Airport and major ports nearby, the location provides optimal conditions for efficient logistics operations with a reduced environmental footprint.

The acquisition of the logistics center in the capital area is not just an investment in square meters – it is an investment in the infrastructure of the future. To support both short- and long-term logistics needs, the project will be constructed in two phases. The initial 8,500 m² will be built speculatively and completed in early 2027. An additional 25,000 m² will follow in 2030, with further opportunities for growth in the region.

Logicenters expands in Denmark with a new logistics center

Logicenters is expanding in Brabrand by acquiring a new logistics center spanning over a total area of 13,649 m². The international company DHL, which currently occupy 6,210 m² of the facility, already have their operations running. At the remaining site, Logicenters will build a property on speculation available for rent.

With an already strong position in the Nordic logistics market, Logicenters continues to strengthen its presence in Denmark. By acquiring a hub from PCM Invest, the company is setting a new standard for logistics facilities of the future, focusing on sustainable and efficient solutions.

The collaboration with the construction partner KT Erhvervsbyg ensures that the new facility of 7,500 m² will meet the high sustainability standards that Logicenters consistently aims for in its projects.

“This collaboration is a guiding compass for us at Logicenters. We aim to make significant investments in Danish logistics, focusing on sustainable operations. I’m very pleased that we managed to close this deal, and we look forward to working with KT Erhvervsbyg and developing even more square meters with an environmental focus”, says Thomas Petersen, Commercial Manager at Logicenters.

The new logistics center is strategically located next to highway E45, providing optimal transportation opportunities for both domestic and international distribution. Aarhus, along with the rest of Denmark, is easily accessible as well.

The construction of the new facility will focus on CO₂-reducing technologies and materials, ensuring that the project meets the growing demand for sustainable solutions. Development of the warehouse will begin as soon as possible and is expected to be completed in 2026. Logicenters is currently looking for new tenants to move-in.

Logicenters big development of a 41 500 m2 property in Horsens has begun

The development is underway for the new property that Logicenters is developing in Horsens. The big investment in the area spans over a total of 41,500 m² and the logistics property will be built in two stages.

The groundbreaking for Logicenters new property in Horsens is now made, and during the year the first stage of 20 200 m² will be completed. Royal Unibrew, a Danish brewing company, will be the first tenant in the building with a warehouse of 8 200 m². At the same time, 12 000 m²will be ready for a new tenant.

”We are happy to announce the first ground break in Horsens, and the beginning of the development of our big investment. We’re also glad that we already have Royal Unibrew as a first tenant, as we still are looking to fill the other land with potential clients”, says Thomas Petersen, Commercial Manager at Logicenters.

The property will be strategically located near the E45 highway, with great transportation possibilities and a direct connection to both northern Denmark via Aarhus, and southern Denmark and Germany. By the end of 2025 Logicenters is expecting the second part of the property, covering 21 000 m², to be completed.

Logicenters invests heavily in Horsens – develops 41 500 m2 and signs agreement with Royal Unibrew

It’s now clear that Logicenters is investing heavily in Horsens and will develop a new property of 41 500 m². The Danish brewing company, Royal Unibrew, will be the first tenant and move into 8 200 m². The remaining part of the property will be built on speculation.

Logicenters is now adding the Danish brewing company, Royal Unibrew, to its portfolio, which will lease 8 200 m² of the new property. At the same time, Logicenters is developing an additional 33 000 m² on speculation with the aim of finding additional tenants.

The strategic location near the E45 highway gives great transportation possibilities and provides a direct connection to both northern Denmark via Aarhus, as well as southern Denmark and Germany.

“Horsens is an exceptionally suitable location with several key points nearby where we can further solidify Logicenters presence in Denmark. We are very excited to expand at this location as the logistics area offers an attractive position in the heart of the country. We are confident that this gives significant opportunities for Royal Unibrew to conduct an efficient logistics operation”, says Thomas Petersen, Commerical Manager at Logicenters in Denmark.

The property in Horsens will be constructed in two stages. Royal Unibrew will move in by the end of 2024, and at the same time, 12 000 m² will be ready for a new tenant. The second part of the property, covering 21 000 m², is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

Logicenters expands its property in Greve with 9700 m² for Godshotel

Logicenters is set to expand its property in Greve. The building, leased by Godshotel & Transport, will be extended with 9700 m²and is expected to be completed in the final quarter of 2024.

The property in Greve is currently leased by the Danish logistic operator Godshotel, which has requested an expansion of the building. Godshotel moved into the facility in September 2020, and the possibility to expand the property has been secured since then. The facility, which covers an area of over 30 000 m², will be expanded by an additional, 9700 m² to meet the tenant’s needs and growth.

“We are extremely grateful for the excellent collaboration with Logicenters in recent years and look forward with great pleasure to moving into the expansion when it’s completed. We are very satisfied with the location in Greve, and this gives us the opportunity to further expand our operations”, says Martin Dibbern, CEO at Godshotel & Transport.

The property has been constructed in two stages since 1997, and the total area before the upcoming redevelopment is 30 142 m². Logicenters is well established in Zealand and has multiple properties in Greve, Køge, Ishøj and Vallensbæk.

Logicenters to install solar cells across 800,000 m2

Logicenters is continuing to concentrate on a sustainable future. To lead the move towards a carbon-neutral sector, the company has decided to more than double its ownership of solar cell installations in the coming years.

With a sustainability goal to be completely carbon neutral by 2028, Logicenters has decided to pioneer the use of renewable energy at its facilities.
The decision has been made to cover roofs with solar panels on all new builds and to install them on existing roofs where possible.

In total, Logicenters aims to install around 800,000 m2 of solar cells over the next three years. This area is equivalent to a total of 133 football pitches. In total, this investment would generate potential annual production of 85,000 MWh, sufficient household electricity for more than the whole of Östersund (24,290 households).

“The logistics property sector has the necessary conditions and therefore a responsibility to take a leading role in the expansion of solar energy on our large roof areas. We are also building for tomorrow, when solar power will be used to charge the electric distribution vehicles of the future. It is here that we at Logicenters feel we can make a big difference,” says Jon Malmsten, solar energy expert at Logicenters.

Over the last year, this ambitious solar cell strategy has already seen construction of the largest roof-mounted solar plant in the Nordic region, covering 80,000 m2. The plant was built for Dagab in Bålsta and is set to become operational in March.

“For me, it goes without saying that we should continue our commitment to solar energy for a carbon-neutral tomorrow. The property sector continues to account for 40% of global emissions and there is an urgent need to find better ways both to develop and to operate properties. Everyone must assume responsibility and it is our ambition to be at the forefront of the Nordic market,” says Matthias Kettelhoit, CEO of Logicenters.

Logicenters leases 13,000 m2 to Bedrocan in Køge

The logistics property company is continuing to develop its presence in the Copenhagen region. It has been announced that Bedrocan, a supplier of medical cannabis, will lease 13,000 m² in Køge.

Two years ago, Logicenters acquired 160,000 m² of land at the Danish logistics park, Skandinavisk Transport Center, in Køge, south of Copenhagen. The logistics property company is planning to develop facilities totalling 68,000 m² in the park, which is now beginning to be filled with future tenants.

A long-term lease agreement has been signed between Logicenters and the Dutch company Bedrocan to lease 13,000 m² in Egedesvej C, with occupancy scheduled to take place on 1 May 2023.

“We are delighted to end the year by entering into a long-term lease with Bedrocan. Our state-of-the-art and sustainable logistics facility will truly accommodate Bedrocan’s need to streamline its logistics operations on the Danish market. We look forward to welcoming our new tenant in the spring,” says Thomas Petersen, Commercial Manager at Logicenters.

Bedrocan is the world’s most experienced producer of medical cannabis. Its high-quality cannabis is used worldwide by patients, drug developers and researchers. It operates two indoor growing facilities in the Netherlands and now one in Denmark (Køge). Bedrocan does not produce cannabis for recreational use.

“With two decades of experience in manufacturing pharmaceutical grade medical cannabis, we look forward to further developing our business in the Nordic region. Skandinavisk Transport Center’s proximity to the E20, E55 and E47 European motorways offers geographical benefits. Køge is also very close to Copenhagen and the port of Køge. Other major companies with a presence in the area include Lidl, Netto, Bring and Movianto.

Logicenters begins construction on Bring’s major new investment

Logicenters has now broken ground on Bring’s major e-commerce venture outside Copenhagen, with construction now officially under way. The facility will have a total area of 38,000 m² with the Norwegian post and logistics company leasing 14,000 m².

It was announced back in the autumn of 2021 that Logicenters was to begin its fourth development at its large 160,000 m² site in Køge, four miles south of Copenhagen. The tenant at the facility will be logistics company Bring with its Shelfless investment. An initial contract has been signed for 14,000 m² but with the ambition to double this area in the future.

The facility will be adapted in line with Bring’s investment in automated e-commerce logistics, enabling it to offer speedy and environmentally sound deliveries to its customers.

“We have finally begun construction of the new, modern building, which will be tailored to the customer’s needs like a hand in a glove. We at Logicenters are also proud to be building the facility in line with our clear and forward-looking environmental profile,” says Thomas Petersen, Commercial Manager at Logicenters.

The new building will give Bring the opportunity to build its large-scale Shelfless auto storage solution in Køge. The system is a total solution where technology enables stores to focus fully on their sales while Bring manages all processes from purchasing to delivery.

It is great that construction is now under way and that we now have the start of Shelfless in Denmark in sight. Completion is expected in a year’s time. Logicenters leases 16,000 m2 to Movianto in Køge

The logistics property company is continuing to expand in the Copenhagen region. Logicenters has now signed a lease with Danish logistics company Movianto. The lease is for a high-tech pharmaceutical warehouse with a floor area of 16,000 m² and the facility is scheduled for completion during the third quarter of 2022.

Logicenters has now signed a lease with another tenant at Egedesvej in Køge, Denmark. The tenant is Movianto, a leading logistics company in pharmaceutical distribution. The long-term lease is for a high-quality pharmaceutical warehouse with a total area of 16,000 m². As has been the case for Logicenters’ other properties in Køge, the warehouse will be built according to Logicenters’ clear environmental profile with the option to install solar panels on the roof.

The high-tech warehouse will be a state-of-the-art and sustainable logistics facility that will meet Movianto’s needs and streamline the efficiency of its logistics operations. Continued growth in the Copenhagen region: Logicenters leases 14,000 m2 in Køge for Brings’ large e-commerce investment

Logicenters is now commencing the development of another 38,000 m² warehouse in Køge outside Copenhagen. In addition to this, Logicenters has signed a lease with Bring. Initially, the lease concerns a 14 000 m² logistics property adapted for e-commerce.

In the autumn of 2021, Logicenters began the fourth stage of development at its 160,000 m² site in Køge, Denmark. The tenant will be post- and logistics company Bring. Of the total area of 38,000 m², Bring will initially lease 14,000 m² with the aim of doubling this in a second stage. The facility will be adapted for their investment in automated e-commerce logistics to be able to offer fast and green deliveries to their customers.

“We are very pleased to be expanding our collaboration with Bring. We at Logicenters think it is important to be able to meet our customers’ needs and the fact that Bring wants to continue to grow with us is good proof of this. Bring will incorporate its autostore solution Shelfless in the logistics property. Shelfless is an overall solution which uses technology to enable stores to focus entirely on sales while Bring manages all processes related to warehousing and delivery.
